grinderbrokeyourhearts
Anyone that’s ever kicked a ball will tell you the game is better on grass.A defender can’t tackle the same which completely changes the game.

The suggestion on here is that if Bo'ness leave for the EoS (as publicly stated) then Linlithgow may consider following them, but any decision if it got that far would need to go to a members vote. Dont think its a given if boness will go as soon as everyone imagines.be a lot of ousting first to get the numbers up for any move.

That's correct. Our own forum is currently having a healthy debate on the subject. Where the general consensus would be in favour of a move - albeit still question marks for some

grinderbrokeyourhearts
Eh? To put it in layman’s terms it’s easier to slide tackle on grass than it is on a rubber carpet. I’m assuming you’ve never played on both to know the difference?
drs
I've played on both, if you'd read the thread you'd know that, and only a really piss poor footballer wouldn't be able to tackle exactly the same on a modern well maintained artificial pitch as they would on a grass pitch. grinderbrokeyourhearts
It’s not the same at all and I could find you loads of folk who agree. Maybe on the top top pitches but the surfaces I’ve seen no chance as it doesn’t move like grass.

Black Dug
Played well first half - loads of changes for the second half and never really got going. Decent run out on the artificial surface ahead of Saturday. What a size of a park that is!
