Was fearing the worst all week and whilst you could see Zenit were lacking some competitive game time, we completely outclassed them. Team selection was spot on, would give the whole team pass marks. Ira Gaines Posted February 16, 2018 Share Posted February 16, 2018 Going to Russia with a 1-0 lead is a very ideal result on the face of it, but Celtic must be thinking they could have done much more damage. It was a pretty good performance but they never took advantage of that enough. I don't think they'll go out though. I can't see them not scoring and Zenit didn't look like a particularly good side. Great co efficient but still not in the 20 best teams in Europe. Ahead of Roma, Monaco, Liverpool, Spurs, Valencia etc. Celtic are ahead of AC Milan in it too and sitting 48th which is pretty decent.
