Quite happy with that. Need to take a decent lead over there

Any lead with a clean sheet id take the now.

We are better than when we beat them last year as long as we dont get any more injuries...hopefuly a new face or two in squad before then, dont know if they have improved or regressed though.

A winnable tie but not the ideal one, would have taken it if second leg at home.

If Celtic get through are they a certainty for pot 4 or chance of pot 3 depending on who gets through other ties ?

OLYMPIAKOS v Rijeka
Istanbul v SEVILLA
NAPOLI v Nice
Hoffenheim v LIVERPOOL

The other ties that mean something to us should we do our bit

Need one of the 4 teams in Caps to be knocked out to make pot 3

Not so sure having the away leg first would be best in this situation tbh. We will need to do 4000 miles or whatever it is but they will have done double that in the week before so that might work in our favour. We also get an extra half hour to score an away goal if it goes to ET

Celtic went there last year with a centre half pairing of Efe Ambrose and Eoghan O'Connell and came away with a score draw. Would have to imagine they will be better this year. Home game is the big one though, kicks off at around 1am Kazakhstan time and Celtic need to take advantage of their body clocks being fucked. Tough but winnable tie.

The home game for Celtic will kick off just before 1am Kazakhstan time.

Celtic just managed to knock these guys out last year with a weaker team so I think we will be OK.  Still find it amusing that Kazakhstan is part of UEFA but the neighbouring Stans (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan etc...) play in AFC
