No not that kind of Snatch!

 

Kids playing Pokemon Go and you've thought "what's the point of that?!" Well here's an augmented reality app that's a bit more worthwhile. Win real prizes and real cash too.

 

Even better it's a bit of a fitness app as you'll be out hunting for boxes walking, running or cycling. You can take your car but that's going to cost your fuel.

 

How does it work?

 

You have a radar which is effectively a map with a compass which as you spin it the needle will turn green to show the direction of the nearest parcel. You go in that direction and you'll soon see it on the map on your screen. Once you get within 50m you click on it and then you see it augmented within a live picture from your camera. Click it to collect.

 

Now comes the twist! The parcel cannot be opened for six hours, and during that time nearby players can attempt to pinch your parcel by paying 25 virtual coins. You can do some things to defeat their attempts again costing virtual currency.

 

Once the counter passes the six hours you get to keep the parcel and open it. The contents can be virtual currency to real prizes including cash. There's a little bit more to it, like safe houses and diamonds but you'll pick it up quickly.
