Kennie
It's Thursday. No Fixtures beyond Saturday. Still got 16 games to fit in before 17th June. Change wont happen unless you make it happen.

All quiet from the other side. If Theresa May thought she didn't need to campaign for votes because she's the person currently in the position then she'd soon get a shock. Another shambolic end to the season where promotion and relegation are decided by ridiculous fixture scheduling. There is no sporting integrity in the way the fixtures are given out. bobbythompson1
For the second year in a row Yoker will be the last team to finish their season after the majority of the club's have completed their fixtures 2/3 weeks before them. Yoker once again know exactly what they need to do to avoid relegation in their last 2 fixtures albeit two very difficult matches against two teams with promotion in mind. Still they have it in their own hands. Last season they had adequate spacing out of their fixtures in the run in with a few decent rest periods and their final games saw them play teams who had more or less either been relegated or nothing to play for allowing them a decent advantage over teams like Greenock who were disadvantaged and subsequently relegated on goal difference having to play something like 12 fixtures in approximately 21 days. Surely teams like Maryhill and Cumbernauld should have had their final fixtures played on the same day as Yoker's
LeedsPhil
In the Central 1st thread, thelangonline posted at 08:40 on Wednesday that Cambuslang's Evening Times SF at Glasgow Perthshire has been set for Wednesday 31st, including the C1 trophy presentation. So it's not that Mr Fixturesman hasn't decided, it's that he's getting a power kick out of keeping info from the general public. Truly pathetic. On Monday in the East, a cup QF was decided. Within an hour of the final whistle, the winner's SF had been added on the East's site's fixture card - this Saturday since Bon'ness won (Linlithgow already had a league match scheduled, so it would've had to have been on a different date had they won on Monday). Contrast that with the West. There should have been a Talbot fixture on standby for adding to Saturday's card in case and as soon as a loss in Wednesday's WoS SF meant they weren't going to be on Final duty. At Largs in the league or at Kilwinning in the AWP. But with catch-up & cup fixtures still to fulfil, and of course with no midweek fixtures before the Junior Cup Final, Talbot will now sit idle this Saturday because Mr Fixturesman didn't get his finger oot his @rse / engage brain. archieb
One of the worst aspects of this utter fixture farce is that the dates for at least some games HAVE been decided. Some individual clubs have been informed of their forthcoming matches, others apparently have not. And what about the supporters? Without notifying them, what is the point of having matches at all? Only one way to describe it - utter incompetence!
LeedsPhil
It's now beyond what can be excused by 'incompetence'. It's clearly a case of 'taking his ball home', knowing that his time is nearly up.

lonewolfie
It's an utter disgrace! Largs' last fixture was on the 15th of April FFS!!!!!!! Surely their remaining game v Talbot should be scheduled for Saturday?
classof2010
Took the words out my mouth but according to some Talbot fans not on here is Talbot are training at beechwood on Saturday thus giving them 10 days off before final

LuckyMascot1993
You only need to look at Glenafton finals two games; both v KRR! How can that even happen?
archieb
Cumnock v Girvan in the AWP - the last quarter final - now added to the fixtures for Wednesday 31st. Play-off first leg is also announced as 31 May with the 2nd leg on 2nd June .... presumably you-know-who isn't expecting Girvan to be in the play-off, or Petershill to still have a chance of it after Saturday! If Yoker beat Girvan and Kilsyth also win he's up a gum tree!!

Bullshit that they are not training on Saturday beith had the same issues last season for amount of games played between semi finals and final of Scottish if not more games than Talbot this year
