FFS. No idea what LBC is but it's no surprise she got binned from them.

It stands for Leading Britains Conversation and is a radio phone in show that covers all matters political and social. She had a slot on Sunday afternoons that she got given not long after she called dead Syrian migrants cockroaches.

I don't have twitter, hopefully no one is dissing her.
It would be best if her twitter account was barren of comments or re-tweets.

Buzzfeed report that BBC News reporter Amol Rajan was informed there were massive cheers and applause from the LBC newsroom when they heard the news that Hopkins would be leaving.

The best solution for this cow is to be ignored, i blocked her ages ago and judging by the tweet welshbairn posted it was the best choice. She thrives on attention so its best to ignore her til she fucks off

Religious cause is not a valid motive.

I come from a starting point that all religion is just fictitious twaddle created by my men to control other men.

That may be true, sadly the guy with the explosive backpack and his cronies don't share your view which is the point really.

To say he is just a mass murderer is too simplistic, his motives were driven from the hatred of western society which he has believed is the enemy of a version of a pure Islam which ISIS and so on peddle to all who'll listen. If we do what you suggest and not label him a religious terrorist then it's ignoring the source of what turns these guys into martyrs for their cause. In his mind and many others he did this for Islam, not just because he got an urge to be a mass murderer.

I just accept that there is no real solution and it's a risk you take that these nutters exist and cannot all be stopped by the security services. Unless all religion becomes obsolete, mental illness can be easily cured and racism can be stamped out (as well as any other bigoted excuse to commit atrocity) then we're just stuck with it. Britain getting involved unnecessarily in foreign conflicts, policing the world and further back colonizing parts of it didn't do us any favours in the world we now live.

The problem with some religion is that it instills a belief that there is an afterlife and that is the most dangerous issue. If science could disprove that there is spirits and afterlife it would go some way to decimate this flawed mind set.

Folk should live like they only have one shot at it and we'd all be happier.

We were probably foolish intervening in Libya, especially expecting a stable democracy to emerge seamlessly from the tribal chaos we left behind, but you would have thought Libyan jihadists would have shown a bit of gratitude for helping them overthrow Gaddafi.

As none of this will ever happen it may be better if the powers that be try and find a different solution. But to be honest they are all good points.
