Is this a serious post? Just not sure if serious?

No, see below.

It’s a reference to exchanges earlier in the thread Granny Danger I believe.

Can't help you on this without some evidence. Or links. Did it even happen? You ghoul.

Screen shot the story from the bbc app -

Not sure what on Earth went on there and it’s pretty scarce information on the matter. How the hell did he find someone who would want to buy something like that?

As much as it was a c**t of a thing to do, 4 years  in the jail is a bit much.

Harry Clarke is a far worse human being.

I don’t think it’s a hard sentencing at all given the circumstances. The tramp will be happy he is off the streets though and probably won’t want to get out of prison. Can’t really compare his situation to that of Harry Clarke either as they are two totally different cases.

You can, in that they are two thoroughly despicable characters but one is still at liberty to do whatever the f**k he likes.

It's not that much of a stretch to think that someone would be willing to pay for photos like that.  When you consider that child porn and things like beheadings are rife on the internet then pictures of people lying dying isn't too wild.  News agencies could even be interested in them, even if they print them censored. I've not really followed this is great detail but is this perhaps how he was caught out? Trying to sell photos to media who then recognise he was the "hero homeless man"?

He may well be happy to be off the streets but I'm not sure what your alternative is here - he deserves jail.  I'm also not convinced other prisoners will give him a warm welcome when he's been sent down for stealing from/taking pictures of dying people after a terror attack.

Do you intimately know his circumstances? Unless you do, you are in no position to judge the lowlife scumbag.

Ah, apologies to Brother Blades.

I’m not sure why he decided to bring GD’s nonsense up again but it derailed from your good point about how it may have been how the tramp got caught.

He probably didn’t have a bank account so must have sold the pics for cash, or maybe he accepted card payment to the stolen card. The BBC report glossed over how he sold the pictures for £100 but it is a big missing piece of the story here.

Just as likely his purchase at MacDonalds was captured by CCTV.
