tbsouth Posted March 11, 2018 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Jim is right , Millar and Malone big losses yesterday, but far too many players failed to turn up yesterday, Hilson and Matty worked hard and Marc saved us from another drubbing. It is looking like Jim's 1st transfer window may come back to haunt us, could easily have replaced 5 or 6 yesterday but nothing else on the bench really. If that level of play can be sustained, for most of the games left until the end of the season, then we should be okay. Depends on which team turns up on the coming Saturday's. Not only does he cause problems to the other defence, he's a fit young lad that doesn't mind tracking back deep into our half if required.Hurst and Josh don't put in anything like that kind of shift . Anything from Sat will be a cherry on top. Just hoping for a good showing and any points would be great. Need to carry the form into the bread and butter games to really kick on. On paper we appear to have the easier run in having got the Big 3 out of the way. Albion have to play Ayr twice, Arbroath and Raith and Queens Park have to play Ayr, Raith and Arbroath. We have to play Albion Rovers and Queens Park, the proverbial 6 pointers. With Andy Munro out for 2 games Weir will have to use his Squad to get the wins required. Kwaka Mal Posted March 20, 2018 Share Posted March 20, 2018 Good game tonight, with the mini Loons winning 3-2 against Tayport. Goals from Penker, Johnson & Avolio. The keeper (Shaw) had a couple of nervy moments. Josh Peters & a new lad (?) Richard Roy up front but both subbied in the 2nd half.
