Annan Ath next manager

Recommended Posts

I think Henry will do what he believes is best for the club.

Are you off your fucking tits!!!

Crooked as the day comes. There's no smoke without fire as they say. Rumours of his betting have been circulating for a few years now. Many of the members-some explayers-know exactly what he's like. He'll dig his heels in, hope it blows over and hope members/fans will have short memories.

I like to be as positive as possible.

Short memories indeed, the club wouldn't be where it is today if it wasn't for the chairman.

100% correct athletic 1 - the club & fans owe a lot of gratitude to Henry's efforts to get us in the league.

Downside - no transparency. No Committee man has ever explained where the 50k People's millions went.

Supposed to be spent within 1 year !

Speaking to someone last night - his opinion was the new appointment will be a shocker ( I think he really meant a surprise) .

Slightly misheard - I said what -  Buster ?

Sorry no offence Buster - the best DJ in the league. ( Get the man some proper equipment instead of him having to hump those massive old fashioned speakers to & fro every game ).

It's now Clydes turn to play, lump, lump, panic, panic, lump lump football.

At least you play winning lump, lump, panic, panic football that qualifies for promotion play offs. That would be a vast improvement on what we were served up this season.

But he only gets teams into the play offs every second year [emoji23]

Happy days.
Skelton number 1
Weatherson number 2

Would John Joyce, a very respected coach by all accounts, remain

at  Annan as a No 2 or go for the job himself? Been told he also

does coaching with Rangers at Murray Park.

Since Peter Weatherson has now hung up the boots, he must be

considering management. Did a more than decent job with Ryan

McStay as co-managers at Shettleston Juniors. Since their

departure, Shettleston have dropped out of the promotion

places in the Super First Division completely. They also took

Shettleston to the Sectional League Cup final, where they lost

on penalties against Rob Roy at Cambuslang Rangers.

McStay signed for Pollok after they left, but reports suggested

he would not rule out linking up again with Peter in management.

My guess is that Joyce will go to Clyde with Chapman.

Would the trio be complete if they brought in Tony McNally

to run the Under-20s? Tony has announced he is leaving

Dumbarton as Head of Youth Development. The trio were

together at Annan. Tony never had the chance to set-up

an Under-20 team at the Sons.

Sounds like a good idea for them to be honest.

Don't think we'll hear more until the new man's in place.
