Labour councillors in Aberdeen suspended over Tory coalition

Some Labour supporters are going mental about this based on what I've read elsewhere and are even speculating whether Dugdale is an SNP agent sent in to destroy their party. In the general election they will need people leaning Tory to ignore the Corbyn factor and vote tactically for them to stop the SNP to win back a few seats in the central belt, so appearing to prefer the SNP to the Tories in local government achieves what exactly for them in strategic terms?

Was that not one mentalist that accused Kezia of being a plant?

Preffering the SNP is preferring to work against the Tories.  Which, in this universe, is what Labour should do.

That they are doing what you say, working with the Tories in local government because strategy, GE, union etc illustrates how far these people have wandered from representative, progressive politics that listens to the needs and wants of the people who voted for them - They don't care.

So the SNP got the biggest numbers, but not enough for a majority, so the also rans all clubbed together to keep them out? Pathetic.
The Tories and Labour must be absolutely seething at the SNP if they're willing to abandon all their principles and jump into bed with each other. Slags.

The labour types won't understand the word 'principles'....its on the ripped out pages of the dictionary like 'honesty....transparency n social justice '....they prefer 'moderate.....ooh tory mmm'

The councillors had the brass neck to parade down Union Street at the weekend.

There was a distinct lack of eggs being thrown at that parade. What are the good protesters of Aberdeen all about?
