dipsy
So the papers have Rangers moving to England again. Oh, wait. Did'nt UEFA and FIFA make it very clear that such a thing was not going to happen? Read on, and we find it is their youth team, and it's not official it's just friendlies. Well! Firstly, a youth to anyone at Ibrox is someone aged between 27 and 30. Secondly, they say that it will benefit the whole of Scottish football. Okay, but since when did anyone in any incarnation of Rangers give a toss for anything that does not originate from Ibrox? Thirdly, when are they going to realise that they are NOT Rangers, and they do not have money on tap? Who is going to pay for these jaunts, which, let's face it, do not really serve any useful purpose? They need a team for next season. Priority. Ibrox needs serious structural attention. Priority. There are three major loans needing repaid in November. There is the general running of things, but going by the past few seasons, that can be comfortably ignored. Let's just hope that it is all vacuous paper talk, but given Rangers habit of spending money they do not have like water, probably not. Oh dear. Down the pan again looms ever closer, methinks. What is a 6-0 stuffing every second week going to do for their confidence? ETA: I assume these European superstar kids will have to travel to Ibrox to play? There's no way Rangers can afford to send their development squad to Italy or Spain.
BFTD
Sell Ibrox, buy Blyth Spartans or similar, and GTF. Problem solved. Sure, everyone in England will hate you, but Rangers are used to that, and it's probably an improvement to the indifference you're used to from down south. Certainly shouldn't affect crowds, as most of the attendees at Ibrox are used to travelling long distances anyway. Please, for God's sake, get it done. This is like The War of the Roses, with Michael Douglas refusing to move out despite neither him nor Kathleen Turner wanting him to stay.
Paralytic Critic
We have been here before about them moving to England...they even had it in the papers that Green was trying to buy Bury and rename them as Rangers and move the club into the league that way. Well Gullibears don't waste your time hoping for this or be fooled into spending money on season tickets in the chance of the move as it isn't going to happen..not now.. not ever. Rangers getting the f**k of Scotland would benefit the whole of Scottish football, even if it just their youth team
