Brechin 1 v 2 Alloa, Alloa 4 v 1 Brechin

Recommended Posts

Because Ross County funnily enough represent a massive county and Brechin doesn't?

And aye? People in Alloa are strange then, never ever been laughed at because I support Arbroath. Even the OF fans here would class us as their wee team.

£16 is ridiculous by the way.

Alloa are from the smallest county in Scotland...

Aye.

Enough of us Alloa fans have complained about prices this year but if the club won't drop it for Cove Rangers in the League Cup at the start of the season then they aren't going to drop it now. Only concession they've made is season tickets being valid unlike cup games. I work two weekends a month but still buy a season ticket despite knowing I'll not get value out of it.

I am not sure but I would think alloa has 120/140 season tickets so 140 @ £ 16 = £ 2500 the club didn't need to give season ticket holders free entry.  I will be happy paying £ 16 for the game and I am happy the club have given the season ticket holders and 100s  of local kids  a free football day out . Hats of to Brechin for giving all fans lower prices at the first leg wonder if it put any numbers on a normal priced game at Brechin. With no other football on at 5.15 on Saturday I wonder if the local people will support the local team . Instead of supporting Celtic .Rangers Hearts HIbs for once support your local team

Support your local team ? Its a great idea , but it'll never catch on .....

What are you on about Clackmannanshire for?

Just don't understand how you can't seem to get the points people are making here.

We get the price argument every single game. Alloa fans have nothing to do with it & agree with the the majority of the away fans who have a pop at it. Get over it, pay the £16 & support your team in its biggest ever game. Back to the football please.

Good post looking at what the club are doing for this game with free entry for season book holders and the free kids tickets it must be near £ 3000 lost revenue that's a lot of money to a club as alloa . Yes all other fans are being asked to pay normal club prices .in my view the club have done excellent regarding this issue after all they didn't need to do anything regarding prices

Com the Wasps get over the final hurdle and make it a great season

Would have been a nice gesture if Alloa had returned the very kind gesture Brechin made on Wednesday with reduced costs and free entry to under 16's

They could have dropped the prices to a tenner, a majority of the additional loss would be covered by the TV money if the figure I'm told is correct. I agree that the club don't have to do anything regarding the prices but it would have been a reward to fans without season tickets, and probably would have attracted more neutrals in too.

Settle down.

Both the Challenge Cup final and Scottish Cup QF replay were far bigger.

If this matters to you, then what you've actually highlighted is that you have a far more densely populated county all to yourself.

To generalise the figures, if you split Angus four ways then you get a share of <30k, much lower than the ~50k of Clackmannanshire. Furthermore, Alloa itself is well over twice the Brechin (which itself is half the size of Forfar and less than a third of Arbroath).

It doesn't matter to me in the slightest. Thanks for taking time out of your day to reply though.

Will we get a chance of the 50/50 this time?

Bloody hell can t we speak football on which will be a big day for one of us small teams .? We re play off specialists but have yet to actually win one whilst Alloa have been there n done it ... First 20 minutes is important just hope we settle and don t lose early goal .. Will Darren go back to 5 at the back or will he keep same starting 11 ..I think a wee freshen up would nt do us any harm .. As for Alloa they nvr really turned up on Wed so they can only get better ...

If Duggie Hill is fit I get the feeling he will stick him in with the same back 4 as Wednesday and make it a 5 and possibly take out Caldwell

Kieren doesn't run the 50/50 so is in no position to answer. The club are though so phone them instead. If I see the guy who runs it pre match I'll ask if he makes sure to send someone over.

I reckon Fusco d drop out as Pabs said he d been carrying an injury .. Be a shame to drop Caldwell as hes found a wee bit of form .. A lot of half chances fall around edge of box i noticed thats where Trouton does well feeding off them ... Any idea how many buses are goin thru
