The problem with lots of cyclists is they want the best of all worlds. It's a common complaint from many that not enough money is spent on cycling infrastructure and that's why there's lots of confrontations with other road users. But in lots of areas with purpose built cycle lanes they use the road and pavement. This leads to motorists developing a feck them attitude which is reciprocated and creates a lot of the tensions.

Exactly the sort of outburst I'd expect from Mr Raleigh or Mizz BMX. Just highlights the extent of the problem.

Do you think you will have to wait long for your own village?

Have cycled to work everyday for the past 5 years. Also have a car. Drivers can be arseholes, cyclists can be arseholes, pedestrians can be arseholes. The worst bits are when it is a designated pedestrian/cycleway. No one wins.

Got hit by a car trying to overtake me and had to go to A & E. Not fun. The shite didn't even stop.

Cyclists jumping red lights should go the extra mile and kill themselves

You are forgetting, red lights, lane markers and road signs are only advisory for cyclists, too be ignored at will.
