Evening Telegraph live feed had ours as 1967 - don't know if that counted all the Linfield knuckledraggers though.

 That's a number that won't have pleased the visiting fans. They'll think it was a conspiracy.

These crowds arent that bad considering. They always start to take off at the latter stages when clubs field stronger teams at the prospect of cash and silverware.

I would agree with that Berk.

Cup games arn't on the season ticket these days so a lot of folk may opt out of going also quite a few sides now include the ticket holder in league crowds whether they attend or not so those crowds are inflated anyway.

Cup games will be the only ones your going to see an accurate with the split on the takings.

Most of those are understandably low. You'd expect more at Dundee United given the size of the club and the novelty factor. Inverness vs Peterhead being a derby would probably have drawn more if Caley weren't so crap.

A derby? Over 100 miles and around 2 and half to 3 hours drive?

Day of contrasts.

There was, by the standards the competition now sets, a pretty excellent crowd at Falkirk. There were astonishingly low crowds at Inverness (didn't make 4 figures); Dundee Utd (sub 2,000); and Cove v Crusaders (under 300).

Tannadice has now actually seen 3 sub 2,000 crowds in 3 rounds.

Falkirk-Dunfermline = first crowd over 2,000 in this season's competition.

Falkirk v Dunfermline - 4,082
St Mirren v Raith - 1,970
Dundee Utd v Linfield - 1,967
Inverness CT v Peterhead - 960
Montrose v QotS - 534
Dumbarton v Stranraer - 492
TNS v Elgin - 404
Cove v Crusaders - 268

An absolutely pointless competition now that the League Cup has given teams more games in the sections. The introduction of Welsh and Irish sides won't make it any more attractive as some of yesterday's attendances show. 404 and 268 at 2 of the matches. Only 3 of the ties topped 1k and 2 of those were Scottish sides facing each other. Give it up Doncaster and preferably resign.

Why would you expect more?

On TV, scummy opposition, manager already announced it was a youth team. I'm amazed it made 4 figures

Sadly, it looks as if that was one of the biggest crowds of the season for TNS. Welsh football must be fucking awful

When is the draw for the next round? Would be delighted if Falkirk could get crusaders or Linfield away as I'm on the same land mass and I love the chips from the bethany on Newtownards road.

Did Linfield beat Dundee Utd?
