holsten Posted May 6, 2017 Share Posted May 6, 2017 Just looking for how the age group works in the Girls age groups.I know the girls stay playing 7 a side to under 15s I watched my wee cousin team play today in a girls under 13 teams today and she is 13 but it was clear that the other team had 4 or 5 girls who where clearly older at least 14 or 15 is this normal as i know the girls jump from under 13s to u15s so do the girls who are say 14 play in the u13s side ? It was not that the girls were big for their age as my wee cousin is really big for her age and still looked smaller .It just made for a really uncompetitive game between both teams Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
db11 Posted June 4, 2017 Share Posted June 4, 2017 Under 13s would be for girls born 2004 and 2005. I know in the u11s we are allowed to play 2 overage girls but they must be identified to opposition coach before the game and they shouldnt be the best players.
