Dunfermline fans didn't rate Ross 'assist' Forbes, take everything they say with a pinch of salt.

Think most fans saw he had potential. However he had some personal issues during the time at Dunfermline and was pretty pish.

His 'issue' at Dunfermline was probably that you were fielding utter dross like Andy Geggan and Michael 'the Moff' Moffat alongside him. Needless to say that he completely cigared that league and the level above since joining a competent football club.

No-one should trust player judgements by the gormless Dunfermline fanbase. They were after all overjoyed when their club swapped swap Ross Forbes for a complete donkey like Andy Barrowman - a deal that led to their club somehow finishing 7th in a two horse title race. These are facts.

:P

He was brutal and didn't try a leg. An absolute sin that Jim Jefferies (dinosaur) punted for him over Stephen Husband in the Summer of 2014.

Ross Forbes could go on to be the best Scottish player ever seen and it would still have been the right decision to get him to f**k.

Got to the point I've completely forgot about them but can add Michael Miller and Mark Millar to our outs.

Mark Millar is playing for Forfar now and AFAIK Michael Miller doesn't have a club. Could be we're still in talks with him but doubt it.

You're not doing the reputation of the Dunfermline fanbase as utterly brutal judges of players any favours at all, by white-knighting for Stephen Husband; an absolute jobber who just three years later plies his trade at Kelty Hearts in a pub league.

Followed the money, nothing wrong with that. Great guy.

Is there any single explanation as to why the Scottish second tier is becoming a dumping ground for gubbins, Dutch ringers by the barrel-load? It's not exactly an obvious transfer market in which Scottish clubs are likely to find good players relatively cheaply.

Christ knows. I think a lot of managers still follow the 'he's got a foreign sounding name so must be good' line that fans still seem to lap up. Fair play to them too, there's always something exciting about bringing the 'Sebastian Osei-Obengos of this world' into Scottish Football.

Anyway, St Mirren have signed ex QOTS corner taker Ian McShane on a two year deal.
