What can you say except congratulations to Brechin. Down to the bare bones but had a resilience and work rate that is beyond anything that our squad have mustered this season. Picking the bones out of our shambles of a season can wait for another day.

Anyway, I make it that at least 4 Raith Rovers employees have contrived to relegate their team (Drysdale, Locke, Hughes and Vaughan).

How many Rovers employees contrived to keep you up? The kitman, but who else?

Can't really blame vaughan, he was punted out, from what has been said on here, if he could have stayed he would have. The other 3 just made an utter c**t of it all this season.

No one tried to keep us up. Players couldn't even step up when it mattered.

Apparently, Raith players are leaving the stadium in tears. Not speaking to the media. What a shame. A real real shame.

Doubt they'll get any sympathy from us rovers fans. It's a culmination of their inability to play football and our boards inability to make a good decision.

Just glad this car crash of a season is over.

It's more his goals really. Utterly rank position to put him in and his professionalism is to be commended

Throwing in the towel before you've played the first leg?

Don't start thinking Utd are any great shakes because they arsed us 3-0 last night...they're not.We were blowin out our collective proverbials last night and Utd deserved to win.I fully expect Falkirk to progress. They are a better team.

Absolutely a fantastic performance fae the lads well worth the result. The hoof ball tactics fae the full time team has got them where they are. That's 2 games I've watched n really not impressed with Raith

There was a horrible feeling of resignation as the final whistle blew before the penalties. We've not hit a penalty in a competitive match since August and it completely showed. The ones we missed were awful, awful penalties, no where near the corner.

What now? What the f**k. Absolutely zero football for me over the summer. It's been fun, lads.

In Hughes' pre-match interview on Sportsound he was saying that Raith were overdue getting a penalty - well they got 5!
