the_bully_wee
John Coughlin's Berwick come to Fortress Broadwood in a game which could potentially decide who finishes last; the most sensible outcome must surely be a pre-arranged draw, given the Cowdenbeath guff are facing title chasers Forfar in what must surely be an away victory. Both clubs, two of the lower leagues' largest and finest, to live to fight another season.
berwick-the-unbeatable
Seeing as there won't be any football played in this match, can we come up with some ideas to keep fans entertained during the 90 minutes?
Adolfo Rios
Nail biting will be the hobby of choice next week I would imagine.
HibeeJibee
It's a massive game... If Cowdenbeath lose then a draw keeps both participants safe with a game to spare. If Cowdenbeath win it's panic stations, particularly should either participant lose. Foresee it being nervy all round.
DutchBorderer
Would love to know what the bookies are offering for a 0-0 on this match. Forfar seem to have regained to have regained their form, so a gentlemen's agreement at Broadwood is about as big a shoe-in as you can get in this league. David W
Berwick team bus to get lost en route meaning a 5 o'clock kickoff.

haufdaft
I'd suggest Clyde play no midfield next week and play eight in defence and two up front.Given our our missing midfield defensively and offensively it shouldn't make any difference to our tactics but may shore up the defence. Brummie Clyde
Gent's agreement before game. Play the ball back and forth nowhere near the goal in the first half. If Cowdenbeath are winning then both teams go for it second half. If they're losing then stick to the 0-0 game plan.

cfcuk
Would be interesting to see second half if 0 0 half time and Cowdenbeath losing 2 0 [emoji23]Germany v Austria all over again [emoji6] mind you we would probably score an own goal from kick off
Loonytoons
Given Berwick have the worst goal difference between the bottom 3 can they risk thinking Cowden will not win next week?

Farting about whilst Beath might draw would be suicide for Berwick.
haufdaft
Even agreeing a 0-0 with Berwick beforehand wouldn't prevent the current Clyde defence from losing a couple of goals.
Jeremy Fisher
Despite all your conspiracy theories, both Berwick and Clyde football clubs are facing oblivion (deservedly so imo) and this match will not be a draw...If Cowdenbeath can somehow overcome Forfar next Saturday, the loser at Broadwood will finish bottom on Saturday 6th May...I predict. HibeeJibee
If news came through that Cowdenbeath were losing by several and the game was level, I suppose it couldn't be hugely surprising if both shut-up-shop and looked to see-out a draw. Otherwise, any sense of playing for a draw out of choice would be madness. Both are only 3pts ahead with similar GD - already 1 goal worse in Berwick's case - and either or both losing and Cowdenbeath winning on the last day would swing it to the latter.
