So basically only Arniston, Craigroyston, Dunbar, Newtongrange, and Penicuik will be left in the Juniors from the south-east of Scotland.

Conversely, only Blackburn Utd and Camelon from the west of the Region have joined. These are the western outposts! (plus probably Dunipace).  Dunbar will be awfy lonely out there.

Quite so. Did Dunbar 'vote' for or against the pyramid ?

By my count there's 8 other teams in West Lothian, 11 in Fife plus Bo'ness, Linlithgow and Sauchie. If the EoS has 28-30 next season then that will outnumber the Juniors so surely a matter of time before there are no East Juniors left, especially if those three Superleague teams join.

Dunbar didn't bother responding, Arniston replied yes but had a members meeting after and said no, Craigroyston, Newtongrange and Penicuik all said yes.

Has Dunipace confirmed its EoS application, or was this merely a random guest as to the most likely West club to have applied ?

Holding the club agm on April 30th, with the EoSFL meant to be confirming applications on the 26th(?) we'll probably be hearing something official soon.

I think if Am Soccer were applying this time Austin Mcphee would have made at least a little publicity. It was on public record when they were originally interested in the pyramid. They could not even get the council to be interested when a viable park was the main problem.

Players would certainly not be a problem. I suspect they would compete almost overnight.
There was talks years ago about buying the old milk delivery place and building a pitch there but Gilmartins bought that

Surely the astro on the other side.

" When the venue was offered the club decided that the opportunity to advance our football and status by playing in a stadium where the pitch and spectator facilities as such, were a massive improvement on those currently enjoyed at Saughton Enclosure."

Doesn't sound like the astro unless they're talking it up!

Edinburgh United switched a league game against us to there about 4 or 5 seasons ago, it was on the 3G the other side of the hockey pitch to where the facilities are, players had to get changed and walk across that hockey pitch so surely it cant be there? it's just a 3G cage with a couple of steps down the far side.  There are also two other grass pitches, but again a distance from the facilities and probably wouldn't comply.

It surely has to be the rugby pitch, aren't Edinburgh Rugby moving back to Murrayfield there next season just leaving Boroughmuir?
