That's a wild reading of Corbyn's politics. More concerned with preserving the union than defeating the Tories?

If Scotland went independent, that would instantly release 5.5million people from Tory rule.  Surely a socialist, a real one, wants any body of people that have the means, and there would be the means, to not live under conservatism.  Especially when that body of people did not, and never does, vote for it.  No where near for many decades in fact.

Corbyn could support it.  He doesn't though, he supports the union first and those 5.5 million will have to wait their turn.  I believe that that makes him a little fraudulent.

He probably believes in his ability to win an election and deliver meaningful change across the country.

And with his supposedly massive mandate of party members he should now say back me or sack me, he's tied himself in knots on Brexit and Trident. He knows both are loser policies to engage idiots and little Englanders...f**k him he's selling out his life long beliefs for a bit of spotlight.

Remain was the party policy but it didn't stop the duplicitous c**t campaigning halfheartedly for it.

People are expecting way, way too much from him.

He's clearly opposed to nuclear weapons but he's also the leader of a democratic political party. He has to pick and choose the battles very carefully. Gung Ho on every issue would be suicidal.

I think he's trying to tread a very difficult line with brexit - in a similar way to sturgeon with indyref2.

Those who voted for brexit are a powerful voice in British politics (and not one necessarily well represented in the media). If he shows any real sign of backing out then again he'll be fucked in a lot of midland and northern seats. He's trying to wait it out and see the shit hit the fan for the Tory right.

Not an easy balance.

These are the people he really should be standing up to.

Would see Labour return to being the 2nd party and the pro independence parties fall 3 short of a majority...
