Time to abort this pish of "great effort this season". We shouldn't be 0 wins from 3 against St.Mirren, Dumbarton and fucking Ayr United.

Is 4th place really an achievement considering we were looking at a late challenge on Hibs? Falkirk and Dundee United are picking up form and they look to have a great semi final set up there..

We looked to have turned in the corner from our dip in form of late in the 1st half as we should have been about 2 or 3 up. Instead we lose a goal right on half time and we go back to square one.

2nd half was just as poor as we've been recently. I don't know if it's tiredness or lack of confidence but we ain't firing on all cylinders.

The next 2 games are now pretty meaningless as we'll not get 2nd place now. Everything has to be geared up for the playoff's and Duffy has to bring in some of the so called fringe players, especially up front. Lets see what they can do and stake their place in the team for the playoff's.

Well done getting to the playoff's but I hope it's not just appearance money when we get there. Get back to our best and anything can happen

He took pelters but any chance we had of winning that game went off with Lawrence Shankland...

What in the name of suffering f**k are you talking about? He was horrendous and had we had an actual footballer up front in the first half we'd have been out of sight by half time. Instead we had every attack ruined at the point the ball came to him. The fact he turned a deflection in from a few yards doesn't detract from his all round uselessness.

A dreadful game of football, after a fairly promising first 25 minutes where we knocked it about nicely but had no cutting edge we ended up being every bit as bad as we were at Raith last week. We got away with a point because our opponents are also much worse than Raith. There's sadly no sign that we're likely to turn this round ahead of the playoffs, but there's always the hope that Quitongo charges off the bench in the second leg to sword Dundee United and remind us of when we were good.

No embarrassment here.

I'm a fan of my team and a fan of my team playing at their best. This team have played some great, great football this season. However, taking 4th with the cliche the poster used previous "I'd have bitten your hand off for 4th" is poor. We have matched all teams in the top 4 this season but it looks like our team is happy with that position and having no pressure on them in the play offs, I'm sure the fans don't share this lack of enthusiasm.

Fine, but cut out the arrogance towards other clubs, mine included [emoji6]

The alternative was of course the ZERO chances we created when he went off.

With a competent striker and a bit of luck we'd have been 3 or 4 up at half time. Shankland is shite and needs to be punted back to Aberdeen asap.

Second half was poor and Ayr could have nicked another goal.

Can't understand why we took nesbitt off as he was the best player on the park alongside tidser.

Forbes needs a spell on the sidelines. He's been rotten lately and looks like the slow, unfit player from the beginning of last season who lacked motivation and looks totally disinterested.

Strange feeling at the end of the game as we should be delighted to secure the playoffs but it was rather flat as we could have done much more. Credit to the team for a fantastic season so far though.

I'd be sidelining Oliver too. Scullion came on at Raith and showed more enterprise in 10 minutes than the rest combined previously. Forbes almost looks like he knows he's going to be selected due to past exploits or his (previous) dead ball delivery and doesn't have to try very hard.

I thought Oliver played well today and was back to his old self. If scullion wasn't injured he would have been in with a good shout for a start.

Maybe I'm being harsh on him but I still feel he should be giving more, and he seems to be lacking a yard of pace he previously had. The other problem with dropping Forbes now is who do you replace him with? Tiffoney?

I have to say I do actually share your contempt for the 'bitten your hand off' cliche.

A lot of the support probably realise your team have done as much as they possibly could, and have maybe just run out of steam.
