However.....There has been a couple of issues -Firstly backlash from members about having Glasgow in the name and how that will go against the club and create animosity from other supporters etc. And secondly there is an amateur team called United Glasgow so it appears there could be some problems with that. So they have decided to do another vote on a final final team name of either: Glasgow United FC or FC United Given that FC United wasn't on any of the previous lists of names to vote for and it's weirdly been shoehorned into a final vote is weird and that's before you get into the the fact there is already an FC United (of Manchester) and although they technically wouldn't have same name, and probably ok given seperate FA's anyway - it still a strange move given FCUM often drop the UM and referred to as just FC United. Just wondering.
