Brexit will happen but there is a point in there somewhere. It will absolutely not happen within the 2 year window. By 2020 when the next election may have been due, this country could be mired in shite and all the morons will vent their exasperation at those who haven't delivered in time. The fucking madness of calling this now, while every major vote recently has been dogged by fraud and outside interference leads me to bet a bollock that this election will be an horrifically dirty fight. A short, sharp electoral whirlwind of bullshit and avoiding the press unless expressly on her terms and we're going to wake up on the 9th of June with May returned, with a greater majority and a far free-er free hand to do anything she fucking wants. 

With the entire framework of the country up for grabs that's going to end up hurting most people.  The go-to list of who's to blame for the inevitable hardships the country will face as some self-interested aristocrats re-write the constitution will astound you. Particularly when it turns out to be you.

With an increased majority at WM and anything less than the same number of SNP MPs May will stall the next Indy vote indefinitely. I'd hope for 50 seats for the SNP but we'll lose some and any loss at all will be played as a crushing defeat. The mandate from Holyrood will continue to be ignored and I'm no fan of the alternatives to a referendum on Indy and not in this climate.

Of course the only way to insulate Scotland from the impending 5 year shitstorm of divide and rule is to vote for the Scottish National Party in both the up coming local and national elections. But regardless, it's still going to be excruciating and we're not going to even begin escaping the madness until 2022 at the earliest. Which is also the year the 1973 film Soylent Green is set. Not a great sign.

One of the most infuriating British political-isms is "shot your fox" and I'm sorry to say that May IMHO has shot aw c***s fox here. I just hope that no-one else gets shot and that when we're lining up for our rations someone remembers what Soylent Green is.
