So, yeah.

What do people think?

If so, what do you think would actually happen? More bailouts? Is there actually enough money for that this time? If it happens, will it be another property bubble which causes it?

So many questions, so little time...

I'd be surprised if they manage to keep it going for another 5 years. Nothing has been learned from last time and debt levels are astronomically higher. One thing that has changed is the burden for bailing out failed banks has been shifted from the taxpayer to depositors, so we might all get a Cyprus-style haircut next time.

No more boom and bust. Austerity is here to stay at least while the Tories are in power. Rather than a shock financial crisis, you will get poorer by the day and wont even notice the slow rate of decline until one day, you'll awake in a gutter. As you drink the water running past you, you'll suddenly remember how good your life used to be...then turn your thoughts to the fact that it never rained last night.

Every time there's a financial crisis the markets bounce back; in fact in recent weeks the FTSE 100 has been trading at record highs.  The last big financial crisis, based on the selling of toxic debt in the US, was shrugged off within a couple of years in terms of how the financial institutions responded.

In the real world, of course, people are still suffering the after shocks and some folk will never recover from the impact of the crash.

All this goes to show is that those whose financial interests are tied into the markets are impacted totally different from the vast majority, yet it's this first group who have the power to change things.

Yes. House prices and wages can't keep going the way they are. Personal debt can't keep going the way it is. Inequality can only grow so big. Rampant neo liberal capitalism will collapse on it's arse eventually.
