eez-eh
A back 4 of Devlin - Rose - Murphy - Meggatt, then?

Well this is our hopes of getting something out of the game fucked and in the same week he's sent McKenna back to Aberdeen.
No_Problemo
Paddy Boyle is suspended and Balatoni and Crawford are injured. Plus Adams and Farid unlikely to be fit enough to start either. Who knows what our back four is going to look like, we are fucked. Someone had mentioned McKenna being away, is this the case?

No_Problemo
Yes, him and McCall fell out over his 'attitude' apparently. So a back four of Devlin, Murphy, Rose and Meggatt?! That is utterly horrible, even if we turn up we won't get anything with that back four. If fit enough I would likely go for Adams at centre half over that. D'Jaffo
No wonder. McCall's attitude does stink... It was because McKenna had wanted more playing time but McCall couldn't play him instead of Balatoni or Meggat. No fault of McCalls

diegomarahenry
I was hoping that Ayr might sneak this but that back four looks capable of conceding more than the six a slightly more superior defense conceded at St Mirren. The Dunfermline and Morton shitehawks that contaminate Ayr match threads will have wanked themselves into a coma by 6pm on Saturday.
mylothedog
Ayr is my favourite away day by far. Hope you get the playoff place and stay up!!(as long as we do too) [emoji5]
Bluegrass Bairn
Herculean, backs-to-the-wall, plucky, unsung hero-type epic performances from all the above maligned back four, resulting in a very welcome coupon-busting home win, thankyou please. D'Jaffo
This is a bit more gung-ho but as long as Adams isn't playing as a centre half. We'll probably lose 3-0 though.

Worth noting we have a lot of players like Forrest, Gilmour and Meggat who play well then vanish without trace for a while before coming back to contribute. Pity McKenna wasn't given more outings as we could do with him this weekend.

Meathead
I don't think now is the time to be fucking about with wing backs. Devlin is the only player in the available squad who seems in theory suited to it and in the most recent home game against St Mirren he didn't look like he knew what to do in that role. IMO we should just go 4-5-1, flood the midfield with all the central midfielders we have and try to shitfest it for as long as possible.

rb123!
We played the first half of the home game against St Mirren with a 3 at the back and that was a complete park the bus job and hit them on the counter. It didn't work that day and it certainly won't work tomorrow, plus it leaves you severely exposed on the wings if Devlin and Boyle push up.
