He's earned a step-up though. Quite staggering to have two bona fide Partick Thistle legends at the same time, one as manager and the other as player, and one of the best young Scottish centre halves going rather than the shite like Dave the Ukrainian, Sandy Hodge, Bryn Halliwell etc. of not so very long ago.
