Stewbo Posted March 28, 2017 Share Posted March 28, 2017 So the forum has a slight problem in that we have a tonne of fantasy league threads, and a tonne of people looking to play fantasy. I have the opposite problem where Im increasing the number of leagues Im running, but dont want to keep pestering the same people to see if they want to join. I thought it might be handy to have somewhere to post up that they're interested in joining a/more league(s), and what kinds of league they'd be interested in. So anyone still looking for more of a fix, or even folks looking to get a start in playing fantasy, its more than likely I'll have a league for you for this season Anybody who's interested if you can leave a post with the following details and I'll get back to you in a PM as soon as I have a spot open that fits: - preference of redraft (new team every season), dynasty (keep most of or full team year to year) or any? - entry fee; just for fun, low stakes or higher stakes? (Feel free to leave a price range) - depth of league; traditional 10/12 team leagues, deeper 14+ team leagues, or any? - style of league; traditional setup, 2QB/Superflex leagues, Individual Defensive Players (IDP) leagues, or any? - any other dealbreakers I may have missed above? irvine_buddie Posted March 28, 2017 Share Posted March 28, 2017 Good idea, I played in NFL fantasy league for the first time last season and enjoyed it (came runner up ) but a few of the teams gave up hald way through the season. It's an IDP salary cap league with auction style draft and free agency. £25 buy in but there are payouts for division winners, advancing in playoffs and highest scorer. Scoring is slightly different with bonuses for a certain number of catches, rushes and kick returns yardage. Very fun league and the vacant team is actually really good. David Johnson, Amari Cooper, TY Hilton, Dez Bryant and Sammy Watkins to name a few. It's £10 entry fee but £60 to winner plus other prizes for division winners and highest weekly score. Smaller rosters balances the depth around waiver wire and trade block, more teams balances player scarcity. Should be able to access the rules in the messages tab from that link.
