Just imagine how he must feel, before the first I thought to myself that must be every Scottish kids dream that having that FK sitting there for him, fully expected it to hit the wall or miss. Before the second I thought that even that's too far fetched to probably even imagine as a bairn and he goes away and does it just unbelievable stuff really if they'd held on 2 minutes it would've never been forgotten about, up with the 67 keepy up moment.

Let down by shite goalkeeping and shite marking. He's worked incredibly hard to be our first choice striker and he's working even harder to keep it that way. I give it until October for the Tartan Army to get outraged with him and demand Jordan Rhodes again...

Eat my hat regarding Griffiths. Two top class goals from him.

Unfortunately, he was let down by some of his teammates. That the backbone of this team contains Celtic players who won the league at a canter, it tells you all you need to know about the state of our game. Brown and Gordon were truly awful. One or two other players had brainfarts that helped make the difference between winning and drawing.

I knew Griffiths could take a free kick before today, I've seen him score them against my team in the flesh.

As a specialist kicker, play him every game.

End of the day this was a must win game and we haven't won.

Today was a failure for Scotland, and ends our hopes of qualifying.

^^

Lex votes against Scotland and for the Tories.

Rest assured he wasn't backing Scotland.

To go from being on the floor raging getting beat 1 nil to then screaming about my living room we equalised loving it, then onto near cardiac arrest when that 2nd free kick went in which was a fecking screamer by the way, that equaliser from Kane has left me traumatised it really has...will we ever get the rub of the green in my life time I fear not.

I had much more confidence for his second.

He's a cocky wee b*****d and the confidence gained from that first one would've meant his mentality would be in a brilliant place. Also, the keeper has a problem whether to go the same side or not when he's already been done.

Craig Gordon has had a very good season domestically, but he wasn't great today. Having said that, I think attributing any significant blame to him for Kane's goal is a little harsh; the first is a different story. I still think Griffiths is a better player than Dembélé, which my friends regularly slate me for saying.

England were just so mediocre. They barely deserved a point and Scotland didn't have to play particularly well for the most part.

They are incredibly predictable. Alli's outstanding and Kane's deadly, but from partnerships of Smalling/Cahill to Dier/Livermore, there's no one there to get the ball to them. The amount of times they gave the ball away was laughable, and we really should've punished them more for it. We also probably got our best runs at them from them giving it away/us winning it back so high up the pitch. Snodgrass and Armstrong never seemed to be playing in tandem when the ball was won back.
