The Ilford Drummer
If Glenafton get the officials on board like they did today they may very well get some silverware this season.

GLENAFTON93
Dont think the display by the Officials today had anything to do with Glenafton, it was'nt the best either team has played this season and looked like a certainty to go to penalties till the Referee gave the penalty in the final minute of the game.I will look at the incident in the few highlights i got. Footballfirst
Three incredible turnarounds in the East today Bo'ness 3-0 up on Lochee and lose 4-3 Hill of Beath 2-0 up on Bonnyrigg and lose 3-2 Kelty 1-0 up on Dundonald and lose 2-1 I was at the Hill of Beath game and their discipline let then down, going down to 10 men after 35 minutes and finishing with 9 men then having a subbed player red carded too. They also engineered two one on ones with the keeper while down to 10 men, but failed to convert either chance. Rose celebrated as if they had won the league after the third goal went in two minutes into stoppage time, but the way Kelty are playing, they could still do it. Kilbowie's Finest
Shotts Bon Accord 0 Clydebank 2( Little pen 72 , Shelvey 87mins) Comfortable win in the end for Bankies and should have been by a wider margin. Poor first half , much better second half. Shotts were poor and their keeper Murdoch pulled off a couple of good saves as well as Bankies hitting the post 3 times. Good performances from Gow and Darroch at the back as well as Little, Burbidge and Paterson. Absolutely glorious day as well - big change from usual Shotts weather !! ex-german exile
I know, but results today without them playing IMO seen two fall away. Talbot and Rob Roy have the same points from the same games played so Roy can hardly be classed as having fallen away.
rednblack
We have just lost our first league game in six having previously won five and drew one. We may well fall off the pace slightly but that won't stop some saying so at the very first opportunity to do so those who are very keen and eager to write us off as us doing well shows up there own clubs failings this season. superpollok
Talbot and Rob Roy have the same points from the same games played so Roy can hardly be classed as having fallen away. It's all about momentum at this stage of the season, RR picked up their points early, but recently scraped through a WoS tie, lost in the Scottish and now lost to a title rival. Meanwhile Talbot have picked up their form and Glenafton have been consistent through the whole season.
rednblack
So losing to a top east game in a junior cup quarter final losing to Talbot away when most will agree we should have taken a point losing to a dodgey offside. Winning on penalties when changes have been made constitutes us having fallen away?? You're comments and dislike of Rob Roy are obvious so it's no real surprise at you're quickness to right us off the more who do the more who it suits us. Incidentally our last seven recent league games not early season is five wins one defeat one draw. Glenafton are obviously a good side but if you really want to go down the road you are they are out the west. Scrapped by a ayrshire cup tie with a injury time winner and got by a lower league east side one nil at home in the Scottish. If say they lose Next Week to largs is that them now falling away? You can pick holes in any team season what you can't play holes in is the things can change dramatically from one week to another as its so close.
