Woman wraps herself in bin bags and stabs shop till

Recommended Posts

A Barrhead woman has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison following a robbery on a local Costcutter.  Denise Caisley wrapped herself in bin bags to disguise her identity during the attack but after threatening staff she was unable to open the till and was reduced to stabbing it with one of her knives, as seen in the photograph below.

She then selected several packets of cigarettes and some alcohol before fleeing.  The police caught her still clad in her bin-bag ninja outfit and arrested her shortly afterwards.

Have any P&Bers ever wrapped themselves in bin bags to carry out a robbery?

Have any P&Bers ever stabbed a shop till with a knife?

Have any P&Bers ever been arrested by police wearing only bin bags?

Strange you post this. There was a video of a guy with a bin bag over himself and covering his feet. I'm assuming it was a live feed as comments kept popping up (haven't got FB so no idea if that's the norm). He was absolutely bladdered/eccied out his face. I think before the video went live he must have threatened to rob the place. I actually think the guy was mentally unwell tbh. There was a woman (alcy) pretending to be an undercover policewoman and at one point put gloves on and actually searched this boy as well as preventing him leaving the shop. The worst thing about it was the comments: folk laughing at it and cheering on the woman. There was only one or two folk who pointed out she was the only person breaking the law! Pretty uncomfortable viewing.

Guns don't kill people, wrappers do.

I've never carried out an armed robbery. Never stabbed anyone with anything deadlier than a pencil (and I got stabbed back and still have the lead/graphite in my hand). I jokingly brandished a decommissioned air pistol that was a Colt 45 replica at someone. It was just to show him the new black paint job I'd done on it and he genuinely bricked it and thought he was about to get shot. Felt really guilty about it.

What with Alan Qaeda and Allan Ackbar, I'm beginning to think all Alan's/Allan's are OFTW.

When I was a child about 3 years old my big brother frequently tried to kill me. One of his more favoured methods was to use plastic bags. Back in the old days, these bags had a warning printed on them, advising that young children can be suffocated, when playing with them.

My brother used to score out these warning notices with a ballpoint pen then hand the bags over to me to play with.

I'm lucky to be here.

At Hallowe'en when I was a young kid, I wanted to go out guising (trick or treating to you young 'uns) ... of course, I had no costume so my mum improvised and made me a costume out of a couple of bin-bags. Hey presto. A ghost.

The laughs of the other children haunt me to this day.

I watched this earlier and just assumed that it was Rusty having a meltdown after being constantly pulled up for his lack of multi quoting
