We originally had Glenafton away which is a relatively short journey and something different from the norm but now away to Montrose where we`ve already struggled just last week in the diddy cup. Either way the whole thing was a fucking shambles. There surely has to be someone monitoring the draw who can instantly intervene. It was a farce HJ no reason to change it the actual draw was done right just the silly old duffer couldn't read the ball right. As mentioned by Distant Doonhamer some clubs will be happy with the redraw others will be fuming. Almost as bad as the cock up with the Junior Cup draw either last season or the year before when they forgot some of the teams Only in Scotland. Even in the last few years we've had the Scottish Parliament presiding officer reading out the wrong numbers in League Cup SF draw... interestingly on that occasion the first draw stood and they changed the announcement; the Junior FA drawing 4 too few ties in Junior Cup R1, having to come back later on and draw the last 4; a 'kinder egg' ball bursting open 2 seasons ago, leaving SFA President staring blankly into the bowl before a re-draw was ordered; last season's Rod Stewart fiasco; and now this latest, particularly grandiose, shambles. Maybe the draws should be sub-contracted to the remaining leagues and associations who are actually capable of doing them without a spectacular screwup; or we could get some foreigners in.
