DA Baracus
I've just had a rather illuminating and frankly disturbing conversation at work where it was revealed that quite a few folk actually pour soup down the toilet. Soup. Down the toilet. Just what the f**k are they playing at? I mean leftover soup obviously, not that they're just buying tins of soup from the shop and pouring them down the shitter. So...do any of you manky c***s partake in the soup/toilet thing? If so, why? And why are you such a clownish jakeball?
topcat(The most tip top)
What sort of soup are we talking about? If it's a thick chunky broth then it makes sense as opposed to squeezing bits of carrot through the plugIf it's a consommé then that's just weird. throbber
Soup is about the same consistency as jobby so its fair enough.

AsimButtHitsASix
What the f**k is leftover soup? Get a grip a loaf of bread and dip it in until there's no more soup.
sjc
I'd occasionally do this with soup when I lived on my own but only because I used to make a big f**k off pot of it and after day 4 I was getting sick of it plus it was usually starting to turn (that said you can mash it and add curry powder to make a base for a curry). I'd feed the fish in the canal with it in the boat days though.
Fraser Fyvie
I've never done it but it's a good idea tbf.

MSU
TBF, pouring leftover soup into the bin or down the sink seem like far more mentally-ill, jakey type things to do.
supermik
If its Vegetable then you could just pour outside the gate of your least favourite neighbors. They could be seething for months over it.
resk
Aye, chuck it down the pan if it's been in the fridge for a couple of weeks and I'm unlikely to eat it. I make quite thick soup. Much more sensible than attempting to put it down the sink or in the bin.
Mackie The Staggie
Never ever thought about chucking leftover chunky veg soup down the toilet. I've always strained the liquid down the sink and then any veg is caught in the sieve and put into the bin......like any sane human should be doing.....right? throbber
As long as you pour it into a non porous bin bag then it's fine, don't want it to go clogging up your sink.

KnightswoodBear
Just so I've got this right. Hangover shites after a night on the Guinness and one of your local Indian's arse melter specials with extra fresh green chillies - Fine The remains of a pot of your grannies best scotch broth - Unthinkable, beastly behavior ? RR #1
Pouring it down the sink and having to dig all the bits of carrot and leek out the plughole with your fingers is surely way more manky than just firing it down the toilet?
Weesiecodal
I'd be a bit disgusted if I rocked up to the toilet, needing a jobbie and found wee bits of barley floating around in there. No self respecting person should ever have left over soup anyway
calum_gers
Surely the sensible thing to do is make it then keep some for consumption in the immediate future and freeze any remaining.
