He's in the mafia now.

And still going with the 'rangers men are needed' line. So, so many of the top clubs in in the EPL and across Europe are doing it wrong apparently.

To be fair Anytime Rangers or Celtic are going through a bad patch , the media is crammed with old players giving it the " Rangers/Celtic men will sort this pish" soundbites .

He does seem to be going for the fat, greasy Brando look. Pulls it off pretty well tbf [Kenneth Williams meme].

Pleasantly surprised if we land Wilson . Certainly seems forward thinking and getting him from Southampton would be impressive

Why on earth would Wilson go to a new club with no manager that can only afford the likes of Garner, O'Halloran, Barton, Windass, Crooks, Dodoo and Senderos?

Surely not because they're offering him stupid money. The Rangers wouldn't do that...

Has this Ross Wilson chap ever played the game? Or is that not an issue when it comes to directors of football, which will suddenly be deemed to be a requirement in the media now that Rangers are appointing one.

As hilarious as it would be, Ferguson is surely leaving Clyde because he's an abysmal manager whose complete failure in putting them in serious danger of relegation to the Lowland League having taken them over as promotion challengers made his position was untenable, rather than moving to a bigger job.
