Swordfishtrombone
On the radio The News Quiz is usually decent, I like Would I Lie To You, I'm not a fan of Lee Mack's stand up or his sitcom but I think he is naturally a very funny guy and very quick and is really good at engaging the non comedian guests on that show. MEADOWXI
Radio 4 - 18.30 Friday The News Quiz, currently presented by Miles Jupp, He replaced Sandi Toksvig when she moved to QI, Making the News Quiz even funner and QI less so. The News Quiz beats all the current TV efforts.

Alan Davies time must surely be up. I still hark back to the time a saw a live recording of Sorry I Haven't a Clue in the Bonar Hall, Dundee. Parsons was in fine form, as was Brandreth. Unfortunately, Fred McCaulay was also there, the unfunny baldy cunt. Surely the unfunny baldy cunt is Andy Parsons?

In regards to the Bonar Hall don't you mean Just A Minute? I don't remember either Parsons or Brandreth being on Sorry I Haven't a Clue, in fact they often make quite nasty jokes about Nicolas Parsons. It's become static, formulaic and predictable. I now switch over when The News Quiz comes on. 34 minutes ago, Tony Ferrino said: There are no funny current panel shows. The last man standing is Just a Minute. Absolutely brilliant that it's not on the telly.
