Lions Watch 2017

The box kicking was effective early on with Ben Smith struggling under the high ball. It's been less effective with Dagg and Cruden back there, who have managed it well. Dagg is one of the best in the world under a high ball.

Lions are in it, but they need to be more aggressive at contact to get anything out of Peyper.

Yeah the back row needs to live up to the hype in the next 40. Game is winnable but they need to play with more ambition when they do have the ball.

So use the ignore function! You're tedious line of petty inane drivel is hardly an adrenaline ride for the grown ups in here

No, I'd rather call you out for the simple-minded, boring, attention-seeking twat you, and your mate, are.

The irony of you referring to yourself as grown-up. [emoji1]

I know players must be protected, and we don't want to see people landing on their heads, but the fact a tackle like that is a penalty absolutely sickens me.

Know what your saying but it's a necessity. Surprised it's not been clamped down on in rugby league. Crikey lions butchered a certain try there

The danger was caused by SBW trying to manipulate his body for an offload. It was a fantastic tackle, and referees need to be aware of that.

The laws are clear though. Tackler has all the responsibility to land the player safely. Players know they can't lift opponents past the horizontal. Refs can't ignore laws even if they want to. By rights it should have been a yellow so lions can't really complain
