Been saying for ages that the irb needs to totally change the attitude to refereeing. Too many refs make their decision on scrums n rucks / mauls before the game even kicks off. Tbf that was a crap Oz side Scotland beat home n away. Your point stands though. Absolute crash ball merchant and when he doesn't bump over the gain line he offers nothing. Joseph had to play for me. There is far far too much going on to see everything and so every ref has his own style. Peyper hasn't turned up today with a new way of refereeing, this is how he runs a game.
