Anyone been to the Classic Football Shirts pop-up on Trongate? Wondering if it's worth a visit.

Was at the last one mate just before Covid and heading there tomorrow for a look.

Worth a visit for sure as you get to see some of the iconic shirts on show in the shop.

Anybody purchased shirts from this site?https://dpretro.com

The website has some cracking shirts I haven’t seen on some of the better known reproduction sites.

They claim to manufacture reproductions and appear to have licensing for adidas, umbro and a wide range of sponsors.

For those considering ordering online from far flung places, I ended up getting 5 shirts from this site, happy with all of them. Took about 3 weeks to get them though , I think on a literal slow boat from China (or Thailand, so not literal).

Thought they are knock-offs the quality is pretty good and they have some shirts I can’t finals anywhere else. Hibs fans are particularly well-catered for.

I got their Ipswich ‘78 and it’s a beautiful fucking shirt.

Hi, I have some hatters football shirts from the 90’s and wondered the best way to get rid of them? Think some have been used in games and some are signed. Any help would be great.

eBay would be your best bet. Retro shirts tend to go for a lot these days. Match worn and signed ones even more so. Make sure if you use this route that you take photos that clearly show the quality and things like signatures.

Alternatively you could try contacting the various retro shirt websites to see if they'd buy them. Places like Mundial Retro, Cult Kits, Vintage Football Shop etc and see if they'll buy them.

I love football shirts. I have loved them since I was a boy and continue to do so now. I feel a bit funny wearing them outside as I'm 30 and hardly of the body shape to be wearing the body paint doing the rounds these days, but in winter if I'm out for a wee walk it's acceptable enough for me to wear one under my jacket, so that's no bad.

I have a silly amount of tops from over the years and would have three times as much if my maw hadn't chucked out a load of bags full from the loft in a fit of lunacy when I moved out years ago. "I didn't think you wanted them anymore" I did, maw. That's why my favourite ones were in bags in the loft. Y'know, safe. I still buy a top every now and again but with much less regularity than I used to. Now I'm hoping my son takes to football like I did so he can have his own collection and marvel at my Parma tops from 1994.

So far baby only has two strips. The white Everton away from a couple of seasons ago with the hooped sleeves and the current Scotland home one. I have both in adult sizes so plan to put them away because I had this little idea that he'll be getting the Scotland shirts as he grows up, and I'll be getting them for my collection, so when he turns 18 he'll have 18 years of Scotland strips in the size he was at the time coupled with my shirts which would (hopefully) fit him at that age. The Everton ones will be put away simply because it was his first.

What I'm asking is where can I find a reasonably priced website with a reasonable selection? I have my eye on a few and recently found this website. It seems legit and stocks Heracles tops which excites me very much. I'm just looking for some more places to shop. Team wise, I don't really care. I have Celtic, Rangers, Liverpool and Man United tops, and those are four of the teams I hate the most in this world. If it's a nice top, it's a nice top. That's all that matters.

Anyway, I'm not entirely sure this is in the right place but hey ho. I searched and couldn't find a relevant thread so if you wish to share your collection or just post pictures of tops you like put them in here, but mainly I'm looking for links to websites. I'm in the middle of re-arranging my house so all my tops are either buried away or boxed up at the moment so I can't show off any of my stoaters, although I will leave you with what is probably my favourite one. I managed to get Fußball Trikot Bayern München myself one of the tech-fit ones and only managed to wear it a couple of times playing 7's before the belly returned. A lot of hard work will need to be done before I wear this again. Isn't she beautiful?

I was just wondering how I would go about drawing a football shirt. I'm baking a cake for my newphews 21st and I wanted to do it in the shape of his favorite football team, so I wanted to draw a football shirt then adjust it to the size that I needed then print it and use it as a template for me to cut around, so all I need is the outline of the shirt for me to cut around. I've tried doing it with the mouse but I can't get it right. Is there an easier way to draw or are there any tips I could use in paint to help me achieve this, or do I have to just keep trying with the mouse. I have had a look around the forum and done a search but had no success finding what I need. Hope someone can help. Many thx In advance.

Got myself a Dortmund 89 top from china. Impressed with the quality of it for a 'china' top.

Strangely, It feels slightly bigger than usual. I know a good few folk have had to size up when getting tops usually.
