Funny story coming out of Shettleston vs Shotts game. According to twitter shettleston keeper Gary Whyte sent off for taking a slash behind the goals on 72 mins lol. Aint they lucky i wasnt a Craig Whyte he was doing

Could have been worse Gary Whyte was needing a Shyte.

On what grounds can the ref send a player off for having a pish?

  • Serious foul play
  • Violent conduct, such as throwing a punch
  • Spitting at an opponent or another person
  • A player other than the goalkeeper denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball
  • Denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity to an opponent moving towards the player's goal by an offence punishable by a free-kick or a penalty kick
  • Using offensive or insulting or abusive language and/or gestures
  • Receiving a second caution in the match

Maybe he was pissing in an insulting or abusive manner.... maybe his pissed in order to deny a goalscoring opportunity... did he piss toward an opponent?
