HibeeJibee Posted January 27, 2017 Share Posted January 27, 2017 This local cup competition pits the finalists of the EOS Qualifying Cup against the EOSFA's SPFL clubs (except Hearts and Hibs who contest the EOS Shield). Draw taken from the EOSL website:Spartans v Edinburgh City Hawick Royal Albert / Lothian Thistle HV v Berwick Rangers So there will be an Edinburgh City v Spartans derby after all this season; while Berwick could face a rematch against the club who unceremoniously dumped us out of the Scottish Cup in October. Berwick haven't failed to reach the Final since 2000-01... East Kilbride are the holder, but failed to qualify... Spartans last lifted the trophy in 2006-07; Edinburgh City in 1947-48; Hawick and LTHV never have. SFs due in March; Final in April. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

HibeeJibee Posted February 23, 2017 Author Share Posted February 23, 2017 Hawick 0-4 LTHV last night. LTHV play Spartans in the EOS Qualifying Cup Final on Sunday 19th March. Spartans host Edinburgh City in the EOS Cup SFs on Tuesday 28th March. LTHV host Berwick in the other SF which has been brought forward to Wednesday 8th March. Volley from a rebound midway through the first-half then a late penalty. LTHV have now reached 4 cup finals this season and await SFs and 2x QFs of a further 3. Remarkable.
