By the end of 2017 I should have the Dominican Republic and Lithuania ticked off with perhaps Slovenia and Italy as well.

Fuctifano
On the “if they have a FIFA-recognised football team and I’ve got off the plane” grounds for inclusion Scotland England Wales NI RoI France Spain Germany Portugal Cezch Rep Poland Austria Liechtenstein Latvia Lithuania Netherlands Belgium Croatia Malta Norway Sweden USA Canada Brazil Argentina Uruguay Paraguay Peru Chile New Zealand Australia Fiji Singapore Japan Hong Kong Also been to Isle of Man and The People’s Republic of Millport. Italy probably the most obvious missing one, and I really should go to Africa to cross off all the main continents, quite fancies going to North Africa a few years ago before all the shit kicked off. Did look at going to Antarctica when I was in Ushuaia but it was several grand to see what I presume is a lot of ice.
Savage Henry
I'm going to use Fuctifano's regulations and in no particular order: Scotland England Wales Northern Ireland roi France Germany Netherlands Austria Italy San Marino Spain Greece France Turkey Qatar Oman Jordan UAE Libya Egypt Iraq Saudi Arabia Japan USA
Alex_14
Scotland England France Spain Portugal Malta Czech Republic Poland Hungary Slovenia Slovakia Italy Germany USA Indonesia (Bali) Hong Kong Singapore New Zealand Australia Denmark The Netherlands Cyprus Turkey Think that's it. Would love to go on a safari in South Africa and I'm eager to see Cuba before the Americans ruin it but I think I'll be too late for that. Going to Malaysia & Borneo so they'll go onto my list too ETA: I've also spent an hour waiting for a train in Austria if that counts
Guest JTS98
Scotland, England, Wales, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Poland (lived in), Hungary, Czech Republic, Ukraine, USA, Australia (lived in), Sri Lanka (lived in), Malaysia (lived in), Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, South Korea (live in), Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, India. Not sure if I’ve forgotten any. Laos and India were brief, but still count. Huge gaping Africa-shaped hole in my destinations which I’d like to fill up a bit. Not really too fussed about the Americas. Not sure why, it’s just never appealed.
paul-r-cfc
South America really appeals to me but for some reason the US and Canada have never been particularly high on my to visit list. Been to Orlando twice but no real desire to see more. Plenty of other places I wanna see first

Do you have to buy a ticket? Are there all inclusive hotels inside? Wasn't knocking you, hadn't even seen your list! I still count it.

Bully Wee Villa
Are we allowed to count countries where we just visit the airport? If so, I can add India to my list this year.

Using that rule I could add Slovakia because I used Bratislava Airport to get to Vienna, but I don't see that as "visiting" the country because I only saw a small part of it from the window of a bus.
