bridgeofweirdo
Game on? What's the state of the pitch? . Another no score draw or will it be the turbo charged QP that keeps the onwards and upwards approach that turns out?. Another performance like last week should secure the points. Keep it going ! theoriginalhedge
Pitch is fine covers down. If no snow all should be fine. Time for Darren to put on his magic hat again for our our end of season winning streak I think .
Bring Your Own Socks
6 wins and 2 draws in the last 10 league outings for Queen's. By contrast, 7 losses from City with 4 of them at home. So it should be a dawdle, right? Too much to hope for a rerun of last week but we are doing better against the top teams and on current form three points are possible for us. Three points and we're in the top four. Incredible! Hats off City fans for keeping the pitch cosy
theoriginalhedge
Connor MacLennan back for us so no need for Darren to play up front .
hedgeman83
Connor MacLennan back for us so no need for Darren to play up front . Glad to have him back got the makings of a good player least we won't have to rely on Caldwell.

Bring Your Own Socks
Pitch is fine covers down. If no snow all should be fine. No inspection listed at the SPFL. Is there one or is all your hard work in profit?http://spfl.co.uk/news/article/pitch-inspections-planned-74/

hedgeman83
Will do yeah it is. Just shows the covers aren't much use but there's not really any thing else you can do to stop it. Yeah sun is ment to be out all day but don't think it will make a lot of difference

Thanks for trying fellas. Your Facebook post was impressive.
CITY1974
Without sounding too harsh is all the effort with covers worth it ? Can t recall a game they ve saved ... We ve all helped over last few seasonz but it s alway s in vain.. I know my post will get crucified but just my opinion ...They just don t seem to hold back any frost ... In theory its a positive but in reallity just seem s always to be waste of time ... Its January we re a part time team games will be off as they have been for last 111 years .. i m not knocking anyone here just giving my views

Other than that I can't think of many off hand if any. If the covers can't survive -2 then you are right, is it really worth the time and effort? hedgeman83
Maybe not but if you don't try to get the game on then you face accusations of not making an effort.

Just shows how cold it got last night. I would reckon it must have been colder than -2 . Bloody annoying but what can you do .Plastic is an option but our players have categorically stated that if we installed plastic they would be off. slangs
Really? It's not ideal, grass is always better but unless u can put in under soil heating and a top quality surface we are where we are and plastic has to remain an option
