Agree with BP by far our best home performance of the season. Whitehill look a decent side though and their current league position gives a false  impression. 3 goals for BSC in the first half; the pick of them Stevie Murrays free kick, ended the game as a contest. In the second half a mazy run from almost halfway past 3 defenders before slotting the ball past the keeper for the 4th. What a goal Gary Redpath.

No complaints from us, BSC are a quality side. We had a couple of experienced players missing yesterday, who might have made a difference, but the rest are just young lads. Nobody in the starting 11 was at the club last season. I looked up the experience of Murray and Grehan and even the great Whitehill teams of 20 years ago wouldn't have players with that experience. Have to say Grehan was a bit lucky the ref never saw him slap Wullie Kidd's pus early on and then a sneaky wee elbow shortly after.  Defence sleeping at the first after only 2 minutes, possible offside at the 3rd, you don't recover from things like that. Also had to question the free kick for no 2 but you can say Grehan used his experience to win it.  Not turning the thread into a moan though, all the BSC guys were brand new on and off the park.

But apart from all that Bsc were pretty good lol, i was actually pretty impressed with ww and the experienced guys that were missing would definitely made a difference because it was a very young side but the future could be pretty good for ww

Good to hear bpek. As the Mantis has alluded to WW have basically started from scratch (after a few difficulties shall we say) and we are hopefully making progress.

Our U20s are looking decent and it will be interesting to see what Gary can do over the next few years.

Seen BSC early in the season v Edinburgh Uni few decent players in their side. Planning on going through to the Scottish Cup game next Sunday afternoon.

Hopefully we'll get a good crowd on Sunday. It should be a cracking game with Dalbeattie looking for revenge following our 4-2 away win a couple of weeks ago. From our perspective we just want to keep winning.

I remember your manager playing for Cowden many moons ago:lol:

Hopefully you get a decent crowd.

1-0 going on 6 or 7.

Fair play to Dalbeattie they set up to stop us us getting the ball to the front players quickly and by and large it worked. We squandered a fair few chances though and it was probably one of our poorest performances of the season. Good to see we can still dig out results when we're not at our best.

Perfect response from the lads tonight. Another 2 goals for Gary Redpath who's turning into a bit of a goal machine, 1 from Ryan McStay from a free kick via a deflection off someone's backside and of course yet another goal for Jack Smith. Only slight disappointment was the sloppy play that led to Gala's goal near the end.
