Tbf young Austin has been outstanding in every game he has started this month so making the decision to drop Insall an easy one for the manager!!!

he didn't get much change out of your defense on sat but obviously tired them enough for Jamie and Lamont to rip them new ones when they came on!!!

Yeah, I don't think we really 'sat in' at all although we did go with 5 in the midfield for most of the game, leaving Austin to go it alone up front. Robinson obviously pushed up a bit at the end when Insall came on.

Saturday also showed just how much we've been missing Mark Lamont.

Can't argue with Hopkin's record. He has developed a team that, while sometimes struggling at the back, will be an attacking threat in every game we play. Having said that, it's obvious that he's had more money to work with than others in this league. And yes, given our static attendances and financial track record, you do wonder who is picking up the tab. Nevertheless, if there is a plan then it surely hinges upon promotion, and we have put ourselves in a strong position to achieve that.

From the other teams, I would give credit to Queen's Park, East Fife and Albion, who are all well in contention for a play-off spot despite (speculating) more modest resources than some of the teams below them.

Long way to go.
