Cooper81
Predicted a draw. I am confident Airdrie will win the league we are going to stengthen whilst Livingston can't really strengthen much more as they allready have their squad signed for this season. Plus livingston still owe us compensation for Cadden and possibly Watt. Aidrie have the better goalkeeper and the better forward in Ryan and probarly the best centre midfielder in Conroy, all airdrie need is a couple of quality players so that when we have injury we have a player of similar quality to fill in for the player who is either injured or suspended. Ayia Napa Daz
Cooper you can have Cadden and Watt back and you can take Crighton also. BIG DECK is coming home, Hopkin is laying down the law and we're going back up. Where's that keeper from Dundee United? Even bring Jamieson back. Seen Buchanan penalty last week embarasing haha lets put out their to oppisition teams in the league who would you rather have Ryan or Buchanan. Ayia Napa Daz
Penalties: it was Cadden who scored the winner V Albion - LB doesn't take them all. Creative players: dunno what you're getting at, Pittman is more 'creative' than Cadden, so are Mullin, Mullen and even Buchanan.Cadden: nice little player at times but an Airdrie level player. Livi 3 & 0 v AFC this season - nothing to fear here, get a proper defender like Big Deck in for next week and we'll have enough to power through the shite like East Fife. Horrendous result today, Hopkin needs to lay down the law and get the front men romping down on goal more when we go 1 up. Need to be playing as we were in Aug, beating teams 3, 4, and 5.Very very poor last few months from Livi. Cooper take Watt and Cadden back and we'll take Iain Russell over here. He's the kinda player we need.

Cooper81
Iain Russell doesnt want play for you hes AIRDRIE SUPPORTER himself. 10 points come monday could become 4 points...long way to go in season as i have previously said.
fifer67
I thought livingstone looked poor at the back all game and any team with any pace going in behind them will cause that back line all sorts of problems.I would say Liam Buchanan their best player by a country mile.Twice now at bayview Liam Kelly has been very poor and if he's not dropped for the next game I'd be astounded. With a goalie making mistakes like that you will always have a chance.Doesnt look good for Kyle Wilkie hobbling off at half time. But even with all our injury woes you have to hand it to the team as their work rate and togetherness is second to none. Ayia Napa Daz
If Livi keep going as they are 4 points will turn into a 10 pt lead for Airdrie. HOPKIN needs to lay down the law now. 2016 - a terrible year for Livi. Worst in history? Yes.

Bear in mind ,we were the architects of our own failure at the Pasta Palace. Nothing really between the 2 teams today, but if I was a Livi fan, I'd be asking why there was no urgency from your players when a goal down with 2 or 3 minutes still to play. Speaks volumes of the performance.
andylivi1
Can't defend that today unfortunately, really poor from start to finish, just never got going at all. Shockingly bad game summed up by the atrocious 2nd half by Kelly. Oh well time to have a drink and forget that today. Happy new year to all when it comes. Bayviewboy
Couldn't see us getting back into the game but all credit to Jamie Insall reacting quickest after Kelly failed to hold a shot from Robinson. When Insall came on as a sub, Hopkins shouted to Lithgow and Crichton not to give him a kick of the ball - he didn't need to as he headed the ball past Kelly ! The second goal saw Robinson and Kelly go for a 50/50 challenge about 25 yards out and as it headed towards goal it seemed to take an age before it hit the inside of the post and crept over the line. Kelly almost conceded a third when he failed to hold a long range effort which should have been an easy take but it slipped through his grasp for a corner. He redeemed himself a bit when he turned over a Mark Lamont free kick. We don't have the best players and we have a very small squad which is being stretched to the limit due to injuries, but the team spirit and togetherness is there for all to see. Livi flatter to deceive. Buchanan took his goal well and leads the line. Defensively they are a bomb scare. Lithgow and Crichton strut around like they are superstars but can't handle it when put under pressure. Liam Kelly had a nightmare for the second time at Bayview this season. Apart from the goal I can't remember Mark Hurst having a save to make. Hopefully by the time we meet again in the Cup, we have a few of the injured players available and 2 or 3 new players in. AMC13
Yeah we were poor today and last week we got what we deserved both times these things happen. Airdrie don't really worry me they're miles behind us when we play each other. I said it last week we need to learn to stop dropping silly points to the lesser teams in the league. Quicker Dec comes in the better he's a class act and will help with closing out games.
