WeAreElgin
You uncultured peasants. Cook some black pudding and put it in a wrap with some mayonnaise. It's absolutely delightful.

You can pick up that smell when you get within 25 miles of Arbroath - really whets the appetite. Sadly that's Arbroath's one and only endearing feature. This would entail a few days staying in a hotel. There was always some c*nt, including one of my team who would order this abomination for breakfast ! Sad as most big hotels in Dubai, Qatar, Bahrain etc make the most magnificent breakfasts imaginable... Don't forget about turkey bacon. The Jumairah Creekside Hotel has/had a pork station limited to bacon or pork sausages, slightly to the left of the main help yourself area. Guessing a few other Dubai hotels might offer the same. That's a bit of a bump, Edmund. I've been to the ME a fair few times and love the food in big hotels. Never seen the 'secret sausage' stations though. 4 minutes ago, SweeperDee said: I'm going to be controversial and say I don't mind either varieties of bacon. Both are good and one is better than the other? Smoked back bacon with cauliflower cheese is the food of the gods, though.
