thepaisleypanda
Obviously a bigger thing in olden days, but, as times move on, does anyone still bother??

welshbairn
My sister does 200, my mother 130, me zero. When they arrive by the bucket load my mother goes, "Oh God, not more." Why the f**k they do it is totally beyond me.
RH33
Teachers, nursery staff, family, long standing family friends, neighbours and kids do them for friends.
Mark Connolly
Mainly for relatives, but also for friends who live fairly far away that I'm unlikely to see over the Christmas period. I also like receiving them, since putting them up all over the flat saves wasting money on shite decorations.
beefybake
Family, friends, and some women I've slept with more than a few times, to let them know they weren't just shags. I like the physicality of cards. Going somewhere to choose , and buy them. Writing the little message. Posting them. Lets people know I've made the effort. I hate those electronic Christmas cards. So f*cking lazy.
YER SISTERS YER MAW
Not really bothered with the card sending caper anymore but still send one out of courtesy to the ones that have sent me one.
Miguel Sanchez
Cards are shite in general. If you need to give a card to someone you see on a regular basis your relationship isn't as important as you think it is, if your only means of communication with someone is a card to them once or twice a year (special occasions like deaths are an exception) they don't matter to you as much as you think they do. invergowrie arab
Had about 10 from work and neighbours now which means obliged to reciprocate. Why don't people mind their own business
Pearbuyerbell
Posted elsewhere but I've been *annoyed* by a family - who I've been nice too - who live down the lane at the end terrace. "We won't be doing Christmas cards" on my FB. "Instead the Smiths will be donating to {insert hospice}" Fuckin' check. Why not donate to hospice and say hello to friends? After all, if you're missing your now (dead) husband, you need neighbours for company. Selfish c***s. + I looked after her dog for 2.5 hours the night her husband died. Absolutely no thanks. Ya Bezzer!
Cards are a necessity for me as I can't be arsed buying presents and I need something to stick the gift vouchers and cash in.

Tony Ferrino
Spoke to my mum yesterday who told me the card I sent arrived with no stamp on, or bill asking her to pay. I was sure I'd put one on, but now wondering if I've uncovered a flaw in the system. Will try it with other family members.
