Mackie The Staggie
So Silverstone/BRDC have started their annual whinge over fees and are threatening to pull out of hosting the GB Round of the champion. http://www.itv.com/news/2017-01-05/future-of-british-grand-prix-at-silverstone-at-risk-over-potentially-ruinous-costs/
Mark Connolly
£18m to host it, with that cost rising by 5% each year, and they generally lose money on the event. Not exactly a surprise that they want to break it. Given that it's already cheaper for British people to go to GPs abroad, they can't even try to increase the prices. Stu
Manor in administration: http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/manor-f1-team-goes-into-administration-863419/ There have been rumours for a while that a takeover has been close. Administration could be good news for them as they can now buy them for a cheaper price and pay off debt for pence in the pound.

ThomCat
Surely Bottas and they are just ironing out the details. Williams wouldn't want to upset their engine supplier while Hamilton wouldn't want a Vettel or RB driver showing him up as a partner.

Jamaldo
Stroll will be under more pressure than he would have been partnering Bottas now. If he can't beat a 35 year old who was meant to be retiring last year then it might not look too good.

peasy23
Ross brawn is the new managing director Heard both him and Chase Carey on SSN earlier, both talking about trying to enable the smaller teams to be more competitive. Don't think that many tears are being shed in the paddock about Bernie's departure.
