Chris_the_rover Posted January 28, 2017 Share Posted January 28, 2017 Chuckle. No sooner had I submitted that last post and Mr Tiffney occurred to me as an even better example. At that Queens Park game - the Saturday before our Monday replay with The Rangers - we had the unfortunate Matt McGinley in goals. Now doing very well at he progressive East Kilbride, I thought he was unfortunate under Ward. Two trialist full backs who were never seen again. A lightweight midfielder - Kennedy - at centre back. Peter Taxi Innes in midfield. Who else? We brought on Ciaran Donnelly who managed to get injured - the very thing we sought to avoid - and Reidy, so bad was the right back. Mark lamont played as a trialing that day. Ward was in the paper after it saying how he was trying to get him signed but it never happened.
