Forgot to say that it was good to see the 2 young boys, Wright and Ross get some game time once the game was won.

Lovely wee bit of play between the 2 of them down the wing closest to the away section. I like Wright's directness but he needs to know when to pass as well. Possibly too eager to impress. Hopefully we'll see more of them in the coming weeks.

Nothing. They did have a go. They could have been 0-1 up in the first 10 mins. Lewis made a fine save. Don't think they ever sat back with 11 men behind the ball... they pushed forward whenever the opportunity arose.

Enjoyed that yesterday although it was absolutely freezing. Didn't realise until I left but my feet had gone totally numb. Could barely walk. Drive back to Edinburgh an absolute c**t in the fog too.

Really impressed with Stranraer keeper made some proper good stops. Stranraer looked comfortable on the ball for wee spells but never really felt under too much threat.

McGinn played really I thought.

Only disappointment was not getting Wright and Ross on a wee bit earlier as the game was dead pretty early.

Not too much to analyse from yesterday, Stranraer are a shadow of the team of the last 2-3 years. Belford was absolutely outstanding and limited it from being a cricket score.

Pleased to see Scott Wright and Frank Ross come on. Wright in particular showed a few bright moments. Needs a challenging Championship loan.

Nice to get through. Shame about the draw though, a real tough one.

Great to speak to a few Stranraer fans in the Caledonian Golf Club pre match. Sound people, hope they had a fine day out.

Decent performance but after the 1st we were chasing shadows and Aberdeen looked like scoring whenever they put a few forward passes together. Barron struggled from the off "couldn't have been fully fit" and was always going to struggle against then pace of the Dons. We only contained them down the left and failed to get any real possesion that would turn out to hurt them. Cammy always seems to excel against better opposition and wouldn't be surprised if he has earned himself a move nearer to home for next season.
The BIG difference for me was off the field of play, where Stranraer FC go out of their way to accommodate all sections of the public and are particularly "Family Friendly"not the case at Pittodrie where a 16 month old who was tired and needed his buggy was first made to be carried into the stand and be held by adults and then on relenting the stewards allowed him access to his buggy but only if walked behind the stand by a parent or guardian, obviously meaning at least the adult was missing the match. An Aberdeen FC official intervened at half time to try and sort the situation, claiming a misunderstanding on behalf of the Security firm with regards to health and safety policy !!! they believed a buggy might be thrown onto the field of play as a missile !!! Have you felt the weight of those things ???
For us a round trip of 500 miles, two hotel rooms for Friday night, two family meals at the Brig O' Don and the rest of the costs associated with supporting a football team and getting frozen for the priveledge only to be treated as modern day lepers, who says discrimination is not alive and well?

Thanks to the Stranraer fans and the enlightened stewards who helped and offered their support. Stranraer FC and their Fans are a credit to themselves and Wigtownshire :)

Stewards at Pittodrie are notorious for being dicks, especially in the away end.

The stewards in the away end are an embarrassment.  It's quite common for the home fans to complain to the stewards in our stand as we watch some (non- Rangers or Celtic) away fans getting huckled and turfed out for standing up or shouting or smiling or some other mythical offence.
