Sure we could have tried to be more offensive, but against a team whose salaries are 7 to 8 times ours no surprise. McManus was culpable - but in general our defence is liable to throw a couple of goals away. Rangers dominated possession but were powder puff until we imploded. A replay would have been about right, but that reckons on the fact that we can keep rats from a drainpipe. It was a penalty kick - we got lucky there. McManus mindf@ck and skippy failing to square the ball for a tap in at 1-1 is why we are out of the cup. At least we get the SKy money and share of 32,000 gate.
